YU5ASA HIGH ALLMy first serious SOAB attempt in the old days. The small SO2R all band setup provided great satisfaction, which is its main goal. The strongest impression is the easily pushed 44 hours of work. For the first time, since I have been doing competitions (50+ years), I slept before the contest itself and started rested. Also, I took my first sleep break at the usual 4-hour bedtime (21Z to 01Z). I read somewhere that it is considered that the first three hours of sleep are the most important for the body, and this has now been confirmed. I had no problems with fatigue until the end of the contest. But I did with the technique, mostly around the PC and peripherals (mainly caused by wired keyboards/stream deck), which is why I had to restart the entire configuration several times. In addition to taking time, frequent interruptions are also a severe attack on the morale of contestants. The DX conditions were excellent, the signals were strong, there were many stations. However, today 3-4 el yagi and 1 kW is the average setup and calling rare multipliers is not easy, especially in these conditions. The FTDX10 has a significantly better receiver than the good old FT1000D. The only drawback in my configuration is the lack of an input for the RX antenna. Thanks everyone for responding! Setup FTDX10/FT1KD, u2R, 4O3A PGXL amp, bandpass filters, triplexer, 6pack, K3JO/YU1EW Arduino antenna server controlled by DXLog. Antennas AD2334, OB11-3, Inv V, Inv L and YCCC 5 circle RX ant

YU7DXSO HIGH 20MOperator age 23 This was the first time i was working for the full time. I had a few breaks during contest, for sleeping and resting. Unfortunately my location and antenna wasnt enough to go trough in the night, when propagation went down, so in that time i tryed to hunt stronger stations. I am really happy how it went, not because of score, simply because i moved my limits, regardles of equipment i was using. See you next year! 73 de YU7DX!
