I0KNQSO HIGH 10MThis year too I participated in this contest with little time knowing that I could not run for a good placement. Good propagation on the band. A heartfelt thanks to those who patiently connected me. 73 de paolo i0knq
I1GXVSO LOW 10MLot of fun on 10 m, in spite of only a few hours of activity on Sunday for family duties, condx not the best to North America
I1NVUSA HIGH ALL73
I1YGQSO LOW ALLVery crowded and disturbed contest by powerful and super modulated stations, propagation not good for long distances. I prefer RTTY mode
I2OLVSA HIGH ALLGood propagation but the big pistols dominate too much because of their continuous spotting on the clusters. This can demotivate the big part who competes with normal ham stations
I2WIJSA HIGH ALLJust for fun and to say hello to so many friends around the world. CU next one!
I6NOASA HIGH ALLI partecipated with a Hexbeam and assorted verticals, and I had really much fun. Conditions on 10 meters were amazing. See you on the next one!
IB4XMULTI-OP DISTRIBUTEDNew category distributed is very nice and interesting and allow us to activate a lot of YL/OM that otherwise will not partecipare to this great contest. We really enjoy

IB9TMULTI-ONE HIGHWe had set two goals: improve our top score in M/S HP, achieved with the IR9Y call in 2011, and attempt to finish among the top ten scores in Europe. We certainly managed to reach the first goal, which made us very happy. As for the second goal, it seems we weren't good enough, so we'll have to try again next time. Thanks to everyone for QSO and see you in the CW leg!
IB9ZSA HIGH 20MPropagation was open on the high bands, although I participated in the single-band 20-meter category. However, on both the first and second days, I contacted very few North American stations. About 20 hours of total activity
IH9YMCSO LOW 80MNo time for test this time , just a couple hour on the air
II2LSA HIGH 15MGreat contest as usual
IK1BBCSO QRP ALLHappy to be on the air again and thanks to all the operators who listen my Qrp signal
IK1HZZSO LOW 10MGood propagation, especially on Saturday, October 25th. Very modest working conditions: ICOM IC-7400, about 90 watts, and a homemade full-size dipole 6 meters above the ground. My home location, on a hill about 500 meters above sea level, helped. I hope to be able to install a better antenna next year. I still had fun and am happy to have made QSOs with distant stations that I didn't think I could reach with just the dipole and 90 watts. Thanks to everyone who had the patience to connect me. Congratulations for the contest

IP0ASA HIGH ALLCQWW SSB 2025 is over. This time it was Murphy's competition, which started on Thursday when a strong storm hit Sardinia and broke one of my 40m 4square verticals. It was repaired on Friday, but it's annoying. Another problem is caused by a group of engineers from Redmond, WA - the manufacturer of the operating system on which I run my amateur radio activities, and which is otherwise completely useless, repeatedly warned me that I had to install an update patch, to keep my computer safe. Since I didn't want to have computer restart problems over the weekend, I did it. That was quite a big mistake. It ruined everything that had been working before. The worst part was that the F1-F12 keys stopped working, so my voice keyer didn't work. The second problem was again caused by nature. There were storms over Sardinia all weekend, and we had five power outages. I used one of them to rest for about an hour. Reception on the lower bands was absolutely disastrous. Another problem was that something went dramatically wrong with the 20m antenna and I had an SWR of 3, which was impossible to fix. The result on 20m reflects that. Another problem is technical, something went wrong with my FLEX6500 and it's another discussion with FlexRadio support. Simply put, can you imagine that even when monitoring is turned off, it randomly turns on (in 30% of cases) at full loudness? You hear your own voice at full volume! It's awful, and in the end, I thought my brain and ears couldn't take it anymore. Basically, it kept me awake when I was tired. Even after all these years in contesting, I still don't understand how anyone in the SOAB category can enjoy sleep deprivation when it's considered torture...but anyway, I enjoyed it. The result is not so bad with such a small setup. Congratulations to all the teams that set new world records, to my friend Braco EF8R for his big effort to put the station in air, to Yuri HP3/VE3DZ for the best ears (first call QSOs) and to all my competitors for their results (especially to Laci OM2VL for his incredible result) and to all of you for the QSOs. See you in the next contest. 73 de Richard IS0JHQ / IP0A So for me, the settings are as follows: 160 m – Inv.L 80 m – 1/4 vertical with 90 radials 40 m – 4square 20–10 m – Cushcraft X7 tribander and HiZ 4square for reception

IP4XMULTI-TWOGreat contest with fantastic propagation. After some years we decided to return to the M2 category just to have more fun. A good way to celebrate my 50 years (1975 - 2025) of partecipation in the CQWW contest. CQWW is 'the contest'. Thanks for calling us. 73 de Claudio I4VEQ on behalf of the Monte Capra Contest Team
