YO9RIJSA QRP 40MI had intention to test a new category for the EXPLORER section but i need you to retake in consideration '5. Transmissions: All QSOs made by an Explorer entry must use the same callsign.' 1. Objective: The EXPLORER category is intended to encourage innovation in operating strategies, station design, and technology adaptation. My proposal is to have possibility to use booth calls that I have . One the normal call (YO9RIJ) and the second a vanity one (YP9J). This is because in many countries for one operator has valid more than two calls that can be used as we wish! CATEGORY NEW: SOAB 2XCALLS NEEDS - two calls - two computers - two contest program - one TCVR - MODUS OPERANDI During the contest is making TEST YO9RIJ YO9RIJ K (or 2K- specific the category) K1ZZ is call and made QSO, then launch TEST YP9J YP9J K (that is the vanity call for YO9RIJ or other call that is legal to use in the contest) and make de QSO with the same station. AIM - more calls on bands for RUN station - Produce surprise for total score after declare score. (The score will grow up in the most cases, nice surprise for every one!) - use normal call and vanity call in the same time in the same contest - produce more satisfaction for the operators - add more stress to perform the operators GAIN - produce multipliers on bands where we have lack of propagation in order to make the bands more attractive during the contest SIMPLE AND ATTRACTIVE NEW CATTEGORY! WE MAKE THE STEP FORWARD IN CONTEST! 73! by YO9RIJ Petrica

YV6BXNSA HP ALLthis resume all weekend 80M only weak signals and nobody answer,no Qso.... my karma the terrible S9 man-made QRN on 40M and 20M signals with up and downs but mostly weak, noise levels always high making hearing almost impossible and being heard difficult as well I think, 15M was good very crowded on all directions both days was the best band. 10M was a major disappointment only few US and some from SA I do my best effort ever, just tnx to all GREAT CW ops out There for the QSOs and pacience... so I'm happy with my numbers see again on next contest...73

ZD7BGSO HP ALLVery, very disappointed could not continue with contest. My CW WW logging programme got corrupted and changed from CW to SSB. Could not rectify despite repeated attempts. Band conditions were very favourable. Again, very disappointed

ZM4GSA LP ALLCondx were pretty good but so was the WX and the gardening won, most of the weekend. Thanks to all who worked me, and to those who listened patiently for my weedy barefoot signal (including an awesome 80m op at M6T!). To those who didn't even hear or acknowlege me, it's no fun feeding the alligators. To those who kept sending QRZ, ??, SRI QSB, AGN AGN, their own callsigns and other superfluous messages at me as I was calling, I suggest LISTENING rather than TRANSMITTING when someone is calling you. Just LISTEN. It's really not hard. To those who CQCQCQCQ with barely a pause for breath, evidently you are expecting to be called by loud stations sending very short callsigns very fast. Would some weak DX be of interest? It is, after all, a DX contest ... If you can't hear me, you can't work me. If you don't even listen, I despair. 73 friends, Gary ZL2IFB aka ZM4G
