VA2EUSO LP ALLI sent zone 2, but learned after the contest I am in zone 5
VA3DBTSO LP ALLCertificate Issued: September 1, 2011
VA3SBSO QRP ALLThank you for another fun contest. Conditions were excellent and lots of participation. Too bad I could not operate longer due to business travel. See you next year. 72 / 73 Serge
VE2EZDSA HP ALLThank you for this nice contest. A tube shorted in my AL-811H after 137 Qs. Still in the high power category I did the rest of the contest at 100W FT-950 + AL-811H + AT2K + 80m dipole + 40m delta-loop
VE3BRSO LP ALLAfter last year's bitter disappointment with my first ever attempt at Assisted, I went back to the way things were meant to be. My multiplier total went significantly down. Almost equal total points, though. Instead of watching spots I could concentrate a bit more on operating and compensate for lost multipliers with gained QSOs. Most importantly, my fun went significantly up. Different game, this real thing: non-assisted. Well, I have to admit that learning to use the N1MM bandmap and available mults/Qs windows to store little gems found during S&P for quick and efficient later use, instead of writing "reminders to self" on stickies, also helped :^)
VE3CVSA QRP ALLBack from hospital after surgery just in time, so have bedroom shack ready to go. Tried out newly built OCF 80m dipole for some recuperative fun...not too long in the chair. Doctor's Orders! Will have to stand some times Hi
VE3DQNSO QRP ALLMy first time entry. I now have a baseline score to improve on next year
VE3JSQChecklogGreat condx. Tnx to all for Good time
VE3PNSO HP 160MFun at start with FT1000D VOX operating from side tone as Mic was still connected!
VE3RIASO LP ALLThe DX was amazing on 15 and 10m all day Sunday. The best ones I worked was Angola and the Shetland and Falkland Islands. Pretty good for a hunk of wire and a 100 watts. 73 Andrew VE3RIA
VE5AADSO LP 15MKenwood TS850S, trap dipole
VE5KSSA LP ALLWow fantastic condx, could not ask for more
VE7BGPSO LP ALLI had a lot of fun operating this contest. I managed to get quite a few operating hours with my new FT-897D and yesterday afternoon I got a few done with my newly Vintage FT-ONE. 73 Gerry
VE7BQOSO QRP ALLConditions for the contest were really good and it was great to be able to make so many QRP contacts.
VE7BZRSO HP ALLTried high power (450 W) for the first time. Lots less frustrating. Used only my 40M/10M dipoles & a 20M vertical. 100% S&P, Great condx. Must have corrected my c/s in 25% of qso's
VK2BJSO HP ALLThese were the best conditions I can remember for CQWW in over 50 years of ham operation. What a great contest
VK2CCCSO QRP 40MThe world seems to have moved to 15m/10m, but operating QRP on 40m was still a big fun
VK2OXZSO HP 20MGreat contest, didn't have much time to participate
VK3FMSO LP ALLA few hours throughout the weekend of S&P using only a Hustler 6-BTV while the log gets refurbished. Certainly makes you appreciate a directional antenna. Propagation did seem excellent.
