VA7UNXSO LOW 20MThanks for a great contest!
VC3XSO HIGH ALLDespite the bottom of the sunspot cycle there were plenty of interesting stations to be heard and sometimes worked. Nothing from Asia at my location on any band but that may have been my fault for not being in the right place at the right time. 15M sounded good but could not 'run' on that band...just not enough stations coming through. 20M was terrific on Saturday after about 11AM local time. Before that EU was loud but hard to work. Fun anyway. Looking forward to CW next month from Vancouver Island as VE7VR
VE1JSSO HIGH ALLNot a big effort. Condx surprisingly good at times
VE2/IU7KRASO LOW ALLLICENSE ISSUED: 15 MARCH 2018
VE2IDXSA HIGH 40MOne more DX-pedition to Zone 2 behind... Thanks to all who called me during 2019 CQ World-Wide DX Contest and see you next time from Zone 2. 73, Igor VE2IDX, also VE3ZF
VE3DCMULTI-MULTIVisitors: Georgette VA3GFI, Murray VE3ZPV, Greg VE3YGG, Dan VA3DJ and Dad Joe. Another great contest the group at VE3DC enjoys. We thought that band conditions were not as they been in the past, but just proved you had to be on the right band at the right time. We not only played radio but we took time to converse with our visitors too. Weather conditions were great, in fact we had to open the trailer doors to cool off the place a few times because of the heat from the amplifiers. We thank everyone for working us and especially, our friends to the south who are always welcome to work us again. 73 Rick VE3BK
VE3HGSA LOW ALLNice to pickoff V55A in the closing hour of the contest on 40
VE3JISA LOW ALLall manual entry ... testing an old ICOM 761 for an estate
VE3KTBSA HIGH ALLThis is the first time in awhile that I have operated CQWW from mid-latitudes. The past few years have been from VY0ERC, and this was a good year to not be there given the reported A and K values. I learned that it's lots of fun to sit at home and do this contest even if VE3 not as interesting as VY0!
VE3PNSO HIGH ALLTried using SDR with spectrum Display this time fun esp on 15
VE3RVZSO LOW ALLAntenna work in the middle of the contest SUCKS! LOL!
VE3TJISA LOW ALLHad a great time, now realize what antennas need to be upgraded
VE3ZZSA HIGH ALLGreat fun, as always, even at this part of the cycle
VE5SFSA LOW ALLVERY POOR CONDITIONS DAY 1 AND JUST A BIT BETTER ON DAY 2
VE6CSXSA LOW ALLThe propagation at my location was the worst I've ever seen. Heard almost nothing the first day. Second day was better
VE6ZCSO LOW ALL2019 was a challenging year: low solar flux, geomagnetic storms, auroral QRN, house guests and related QRN. The real upside was the outstanding signal strength into Oceania - we need more islands between VE and ZL/VK!
VE7BGPSO LOW ALLI had a lot of fun christning a new radio in my shack I bought a Classic IC-756Pro this week and gave it a good workout. Barefoot in these Propagation is challenging
VE7IADSO LOW ALLThanks for a low power contact. First contest with IC7300
VE7WNKSA HIGH ALLGale winds killed my primary 40M antenna, 10 was a no-show, 15 so-so
VK2AUMULTI-ONEAmazingly poor conditions. First time ever we pulled the plug
VK2BJSO HIGH ALLOnly operated in short bursts but good to find 15m lively and lots of activity on 40m
