N7MZWSA LOW ALLWorked 3 stations in China and 1 in Republic of Korea, in the last 9 minutes of the contest!
N7VMSO LOW ALLOK, so the sun decides to burp a massive X-class flare partway into day 1: throw out the propagation charts and band plan! Ten was crazy after the flare: there were stations up higher in frequency than I've ever SEEN. I couldn't get any runs going until late day 2 into Asia. I'm still improving my skills on SSB using the panadapters and SO2R. Thanks for all the stations willing to strain to copy my low-power signal through the QRM, QRN, QSB, and occasional auroral flutter to make a Q!
N7VSSO LOW ALLThank you for hosting another interesting event. Sorry I could not be more active. I hope to be more active next year. Thank you for the contacts. 73, Steve Brandt N7VS
N8ACPSA LOW ALL100w and a wire (80m EFHW inverted V)
N8CJSO LOW 10MFirst time operating in this contest. Thank you to all the skilled operators for being patient with my efforts. 73-Alan-N8CJ
N8GBSO LOW ALLHad a blast!
N8IISO LOW 10MSome great band conditions but not to Asia on Saturday and Sunday evening, JA's at best about 20db down from a good day. I was pleased with EU runs Saturday, Sunday proved very difficult best run for about 30 mintes at 1620Z. That gave me time to find mults such as R2F, 3B9, ER, MD, 4U1A, T7, A6, A7, and 7Q. Thanks for the QSO's!

N9MSGSO LOW ALL100w and a Wire
N9OKSA HIGH ALLSome of the best conditions I've ever seen for a phone contest. Saturday afternoon in particular on 10M was pretty great. I regret that I didn't start the contest until Saturday around 1pm sinceI missed out on something special. Things were great all Sat and Sunday AM, died down a bit in the afternoon, then picked up again late afternoon. Overall it was really fun!
N9TFSA LOW ALLInteresting prop differences observed between 10 and 15 meters from the perspective of multiband ground mounted vertical station. On Saturday, I could easily work most all stations heard on 10m, whether it was EU, AF, SA, or AS. But I struggled on 15m to the same areas. Signals were just as strong on 15 as 10, but I got CQd in my face very often, and could never get any traction going. Looking back at my log and time spent trying to get something going on 15m, I would have been better off spending way more time on 10. I was hoping to crack 500 Qs in a shorter time than it took to hit 377. Tried running a few times on 10m Saturday morning since S&P was working pretty well. None of those attempts netted any Qs, so I stuck with S&P. Got up early Sunday morning before local sunrise to see if I might catch some Asia on 40, and was disappointed. I did catch KH6J for a four band sweep. I was hoping 10m would be as good Sunday morning as it was Saturday morning, in an attempt to hit 500 Qs, but no joy there. 10m seemed to start out decent just after sunrise. EU and AF were strong just like the previous morning, but now I was struggling to be heard across the pond like I was on 15m the previous morning. I had a hard stop QRT at 10:30am local time Sunday, so it is what it is! I did snag a few SSB challenge band Qs on 10 and 20, so that was a nice silver lining. I'll be focusing on better band management next month for the CQWW CW. At least with CW I won't need to scream into a mic to correct the 'T' in my suffix from ECHO received on the other end,to TAAAANGO, or TEXAS, or TOKYO! 73 and thanks for the Qs! NF4ASA HIGH ALLHAD TO RESUBMIT MY LOG TO CHANGE 7Q1X TO 7Q1....MY LOGGING SOFTWARE WOULD NOT ACCEPT 7Q1. FORGOT TO REMOVE THE X BEFORE SUBMITTING IT THE FIRST TIME
NF7ESO LOW 10MREMIND ME TO NOT GET SICK NEXT YEAR AFTER THE FIRST NIGHT OF OP. MISSED SATURDAY COMPLETELY BUT MADE IT BACK ON SUNDAY!
NG2PSA HIGH ALLI like to get up in the middle of the night and see what I can do on 40 with just my dipole
NI1QSA LOW ALLUnfortunately with my partner's recent surgery (and ongoing needful puppy) I was not able to spend more than 18 or so hours. This was more of a high band event for me. I was not happy with my low band results on the new folded dipole, but I will wait to see other folks experiences before making a change. I heard a lot of stations on 80 but at low power I expected more responses when transmitting
NJ5FSO LOW ALLThanks for an amazing contest!
NL7VSO HIGH ALLBands were good on Saturday. Sunday was not as good. Had fun tuning around the bands
NL8FSO HIGH 80MNICE TEST NOT SO MANY GUYS ON THE LOW BANDS BUT HAD A GREAT TIME
NO9ESA HIGH ALLWeird conditions. Half of all QSOs on 10m, with very poor conditions on 160 and 80, and not that great on 40-20. The conditions improved the last night. I experimented with a better audio in Flex 6600 as its speech procesor is poor. I fed the radio through external processor TenTec 715 and had to drive the mic gain high to overide ALC. The average power at least tripled although the signal was not clean some stations copied my zone as 3, not 5. Still I felt much more competitive
NU0CSO HIGH ALLStellar conditions this year!
NU6SSA HIGH 10Mhvy QRN
