VE3ZZSA HIGH ALLGreat contest. Always a lot of fun!!
VE5CPUSO HIGH ALLA few hours of fun despite poor conditions
VE6JFSA LOW ALLConditions Saturday were terrible here but Sunday was much better. Always a fun event!
VE6WRSO LOW ALLI look forward to this contest every year. I barely heard/worked any European or JA stations this year but I got more mults from SA and OC to make up for it this year!
VE7BGPSO LOW ALLCQWW is a good way to have some fun and work a lotsa DX
VE9XXSA HIGH ALLThe weekend had other plans at this QTH so my participation was limited. My objective was simple... In the time I spend on the air, I will jump around all from band to band and work anything green or red on my screen. It was fun trying to empty the list!
VK2CCCSO QRP 40MHeavy wind storm taken down my only TX antenna just at the time of 40m band opening for contest. Lost some time in untangling the wires. Many thanks to all, great attendance during the first evening/ night on 40m band, enjoyed every minute of it. Heavy QRN interference during the second night, very few stations to work on 40m. CU next year!
VK2IGSO LOW 10MOperated mainly on 10m, but strayed onto 40m briefly Sat night (VK2 time) to hand out zone 30. 10m condx weren't great on Sat contest start saw only a few NA stations, and then more OC and AS until one EU worked late afternoon, soon after 10m became very noisy with no signals heard. Sunday was better: more NA stations in the a.m., and many OC and AS stations during the day. Late afternoon EU SP opened expected it to close shortly after sunset, possibly followed by a late p.m. EU LP but SP stayed open for hours with EU stations worked to 1500Z. Multipath evidenced by echo-ey sigs, but not due to LP. Caribbean LP opened about 1230Z with stations beaming EU worked, closing before 1600Z. Heard northern SA stations answering EU CQs, but couldn't hear those southern SA stations being worked by EU. Mon a.m. saw more NA stations than Sat or Sun. An enjoyable contest given the onerous starting condx. Thanks all who answered my calls, and thanks managers for running this contest

VK2PNSO HIGH ALLBest conditions - amazing numbers of the top performers. It is now hard if you over 80
VK3YSO HIGH ALLGreat conditions on 10m my antenna was Hustler 6 BTV and an 80m Dipole
VK4MFXSO QRP ALLFirst Contest
VK5DCSA LOW 10MEnjoyed the challenge of 10m again this year. My 2el Moxon is not great but, some of those European stations can really hear right down into the noise to pull my little signal out
VK5GGSO LOW ALLPart-time entry. Despite the solar numbers the bands were in good shape with plenty of DX about. Rig Icom IC-7300 100w, and a DX Commander 'Classic' fan-vertical antenna
VK6ASA LOW ALLDipped my toes into the water of CW contesting
VK6SMKSO LOW 10MA contact in memory of VK6VAX
VK7GNSO HIGH ALLMy usual part time effort
VL2USA LOW 20MFT-2000, 2ele Quad
VL3ESO HIGH ALLDue to a serious motor accident to my mum a few days prior to the contest, preparation was limited and time management during the contest was poor, visiting her in hospital at times. Nonetheless very happy with the score even though better time management would have resulted in quite a bit better score. Monday propagation was not too bad, but we had severe rain storms and the TH6DXX traps filled with water resulting in a VSWR of about 4:1 for most of day1. The back-up triband dipole had to do the job. Saturday night had severe rain static on the 40m rotatable dipole and large lightning crashes on the low bands. Sunday was much much better with excellent conditions on the high bands and also 40m and 20m. A good opening at sunrise Sunday morning on 160m to EU, but nada on Monday morning. However, 80m was relatively good, 40m was terrific as was 20m. Had to finish early as 24hrs had elapsed having many 30 to 45 minute breaks which should have been extended to 60 minutes. This was my best ever result in a CQWW CW. Thanks for all the QSOs, and apologies for utter inability to read anything more than 2 or 3 characters at the end. Amazing scores by the SOAB kings, I am in awe of their capabilities and skills. However, I am not a fan of 2BSIQ, too many long delays in response to other participants
VL6KSA HIGH ALLLots of interruptions this year. Happy to make this score. IC7300, 3-500Z amp, 80m OCF dipole
VP2MMAMULTI-ONE LOWIt was exciting to operate from Montserrat. The best contest in the world

VU2PTTSO LOW 10MRGO-ONE @ 50w (tu VU2CPL) to Hex beam @ 60 feet up. Mostly S&P, amazing finds at unexpected times when turning the dial. Re-discovering the joy of the old days before clusters ) 17 hours in total dozing and operating in chair between long social events during 10m prime time both days. Thanks for the Qs, hopefully more next year. 73, Prasad VU2PTT
VY2LISO LOW 20MDespite 20M band condx, much fun!
W0BFSA LOW 10MWorse prop. for this contest. Worked only about 1/3 the stations I worked in the SSB contest! Most contacts were to the west ! Still , not bad for 70 watts ( for some reason my Ten Tec maxs out at 70 ?? ) and a dipole from western USA. Worked all 6 continents again so , guess wasn't so bad. Though , tough to compete with the guys with beams !!!
W0DOSSA LOW ALLFirst license 09/2024

W1CTNSA HIGH 10MMY DIT MATTERS !
W1DNSSO LOW ALLCW is much harder than it sounds!
W1ESSA HIGH ALLDidn't spend all available time operating. Effort was one that I'm happy with, given the computer glitches and the uselessness of my 160m antenna. I enjoyed myself and still got good nights' sleep... Used my 'little' KPA500 amp for this effort. The amp performed great but will likely go back to the Drake L7 next time for the extra power on 40 & 80, as I am a 'Vertical with Tribander' station. I may need to revisit my interconnect cables, as the RFI is coming from somewhere
W1FJSA QRP ALLThis contest is the BEST!!
W1HISSO HIGH ALLOne inverted-V wire antenna, apex below 50 ft
W1QKSA LOW 15MThanks for the contacts and to the WWROF for sponsoring the contest and processing the results. 73, Dan - W1QK
W1WEFSO HIGH ALLReally enjoyed this one. Decided to do 24 hour Classic and spread my time over two days.instead of trying to stay in the chair until I had leg cramps! Getting up alot and walking around, and staying hydrated helped. Station worked great and I felt loud. Filters in the 7610 let me squeeze in and run where I never would be able to were it not for the excellent filters. Even got the band edge a couple times...hope KQ2M is OK!

W2CSISO HIGH ALLgreat contest and seen some BIG signals! Thanks for everyone that pulled me out of the noise. no tower here my beam for 10M & 20M is only at 20FT pipe. Radio: FTDX10 Amp: Acom 1000
W2DONSA HIGH ALLFirst license 01-2023 First licensed in Jan. 2023 as KN6YGO, I tried to make W6, NCCC and my local Livermore Amateur Radio Klub proud in the Rookie category. I started teaching myself CW around this time last year, I'm glad I caught the bug before this contest. Grateful to K6KM in particular for his help and encouragement. I operated out of suburban garage shack in Livermore, California with a backyard 40m/20m dipole fan antenna, up about 10m in an inverted vee. My rig was an ICOM 7300 with a ACOM 1010 amp. My key was a Vibroplex deluxe single paddle though N1MM did most of the talking. The highlight of the contest for me was in the last hour when I was having trouble S&P so I decided to run. One of the big gun stations I had trouble getting earlier found me on 15m + also got some really nice DX into Asia, countries I had been wanting for a while. The bands were just excellent on Sunday, with my favorite band 15m shining. I made my 200k point goal just in time for the bands to go quiet. Thank you to all the ops I worked for your patience and organizers for this great contest. What a blast!
W2ECKSO LOW ALLFLEX 8600 Antennas: EFHW, SIG 9 VERTICAL
W2KYMSA LOW ALLWe need another option instead of 599 all the time. Everyone knows it's 599
W2NTNSA HIGH ALLThis was a very nice event. Thanks to everyone who participated and to those who made this possible. I found myself traveling Friday and Saturday, so I wasn't on the contest. Later I spent some time making some contacts, and found it totally enjoyable. For me this was a part time effort, with a wire dipole antenna. I particularly enjoyed the last hour on 80 meters. This is a great hobby! Again, thanks to all those who operated and those who made the contest possible
W3ASWSO LOW ALLLimited activity due to the holiday. Had fun !
