W0ETTSO LOW ALLGreat 10m, 15m and 20m band conditions thanks to solar cycle peak. W0ETT
W0PSYSA HIGH 10MPraise them spots! TS-590SG, KPA1500, TA-33 (50 years old but restored) at 35'. What a great time. I was able to run better than half the time for both days. This was a first time for a single band effort which worked well considering my total laps around the sun. Thanks to all for the Q's. Marv W0PSY

W2TTSA HIGH 20MLimited operating time. Hex beam at 30 feet. 1KW. I, of course, had no intention of winning the contest. I'm no big gun! Conditions were good here in CT. When I hit 70 countries I realized that the goal of working single band DXCC in 8 hours was possible, so I went all out following the spots and using the band and mult features of N1MM. 104 countries worked was beyond my wildest imagination and surpassed the goal of 100! Loved every minute of it. Shout out to N1MM for the greatest piece of software ever written!

W3FLHSA HIGH ALLCondx were OK, not great, wish I had more time available. Did put a few ATNO's in the log
W3FOXSA HIGH ALLI was highly motivated for getting a high score for this contest because P VRC noted me that I was close to receiving a participation award. This was an especially fun contest because conditions were so good. my scores were very low on 160, 80, and 40 because i can only use 90 watts and dipoles on those ban ds. i concentrated on 10, 15, and 20 using only S&P. I tried a run on 10, but gav e up after a few CQs. I set a goal to beat last years contest and a goal of working DXCC on 20, 15, and 10 and beating last years score. Fortunately, I achieved all these personal goal.My station set was the same as last year: Icom 7300 Icom PW-1 on 10, 15, and 20 and a HEX beam at 40 feet. Unlike most contesters, I use a Macintosh computer. my logging software is RUMLOGNG and the built in spotting software was very useful
W3GHMULTI-ONE HIGHHad big fun
W3HKKSA HIGH ALLRig: IC7610 - TenTec Centurion (800w) - N1MM+ logger Ants: 10m homebrew Moxon @ 22' - 2 el 40m vert phased array - 80m vert in a tree. Antenna issues kept 160m inv-L and 20m vert phased array from being used. : -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Op: continuously licensed since 1941 ( same call) Age: 83 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tactics: worked 85% 10m (666 Q's) 10% 40m 5% 80m + 15m.. OTA 26 hrs.. Day 1 was 100% casual S&P looking for mults. Day 2 ran 10m Great two hours post my SR. (rates 100+/hr) Had company from 10a-2pm so missed Prime Time to EU. 10m had all but died Fri night by start of contest. Highlights: worked 36 zones! 64 PY's, 57 DLs, 53 JA's! 400 Q's Day 1, and unusualy 404 Q's Day 2 thanks to stellar run from 8-10am my time. But Day 2 pre-sunset was a slog into Asia due to heavy 5-6-7-0 competition. Plenty of JA-BY-DU-YB-HL but US competition made rates brutally slow. Thoroughly enjoyed 10m for maybe the last time on ssb this cycle. Surprised at 36 zones in the log without a 20m antenna

W3XRSO QRP 10MEvery QSO is a small miracle when using QRP and an indoor antenna!
W3ZFSO LOW ALLDusted off my Drake T-4B twins and was just happy to get them up and running and make a few QSOs I made a whole 6 contacts in total. Imagine my disappointment when I contacted NN6DX (a contest station) and was asked if I really needed this QSO as it would not benefit my score. I told him I wasn't competitive (as I was just savoring my tube rigs for the 1st time this year!) WHAT KIND OF AMATEUR BEHAVES LIKE THAT! JUST GIVE ME A REPORT AND GO ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS!

W4EEYSA HIGH ALLWhat great conditions! Very happy with my results. I broke the One Million point barrier for the first time in the CQ WW SSB. All search and pounce. New antennas worked great and sped up contacts by not needing to wait for rotator movement. Many ATNOs. Thanks for all the QSOs! 73 de W4EEY

W6FBSA LOW ALLI was ready for a good effort, but severe thunderstorms overnight both nights really took the fun out of this contest. Bands were pretty good, but with sunspots now waning, we are back to a power competition, and low power stations lose out. Next year the amps will be in use
W6JBRSO HIGH ALLFantastic Conditions on 10 and 15 meters to EU all weekend! First day, very low noise. Second day atmospheric noise was much higher. Thanks for the Qs!
