| DL8RDL | SA HIGH ALL | Einmal mehr eine Teilnahme mit meiner R7 und einer G5RV von zuhause. Die Bedingungen waren grandios, ich konnte mich mit 750W sogar in einigen PileUps durchsetzen. Auf 10m musste ich aufgrund enormer Einstrhlungsprobleme im Rechner (leider) verzichten. Das Ergebnis h?tte sicher deutlich besser sein k÷nnen... Aber wir haben ja noch CW - und bis dahin werde ich das fixen. Sch÷n wars! |

| DM1CM | SO LOW ALL | This is the first time I've tried to go the full 48 hours, and it really took it out of this retired op. Had a lot of fun though, got some good contacts despite not having a great setup: power 100W, FT-897D (receiver DEFINITELY NOT the best for contesting ;-)) and a single vertical antenna. With over 900 contacts, and 600,000+ points, this is my best result so far in any contest, so I think I did OK. Looking forward to next years CQWW SSB to beat my own best! A final note: I was very impressed by the high standards of tact, patience and friendliness displayed by the many OMs I contacted in this contest, so I'd like to thank and congratulate them and all who took part this year. 73 de Rob |
