| K0SM | SA LOW ALL | Op first night at W2FU M/S. Picked up a bug (non-CW version) and stayed home Sunday and worked a few while the Tylenol did its thing. With 100W and an EFHW 80m vee with apex at 30 feet, 10 and 15 were actually runnable but it's a cloud-warmer on the lower bands. Somehow YB2VSH managed to pull me out on 40m LP Sunday afternoon. Grayline magic! |
| K0XM | SA LOW ALL | First rule: NO CW CONTESTS WITH A MAJOR HEAD COLD!!!! My ears will be ringing all week :) Was not sure how much of an effort I was going to try, but conditions set my course..Nice opening on 40 Sat morn and 10/15 all weekend |
| K1BX | SO LOW ALL | I was forced to enter from 'New Hamsphire' |
| K1KP | MULTI-MULTI | Thanks to the guest ops for a great effort. We were shorthanded this time around, between the CW barrier and losing two of our ops to 'The Big Show' at KC1XX. We must be a pretty good farm team if our players are making it to the big time!! The new 160m antenna played very well - as shown by the 160 line. Thanks to Ken for pushing to get this upgrade done, and to Ken, David and Tim for helping to get it tuned up |
| K1RC | SO LOW ALL | One more test B4 I turn 80 |
| K1WAT | SO QRP 15M | Operated with a QMX at 4 watts and a monoband end-fed half-wave antenna. Many thanks to everyone who pulled out my weak signal — greatly appreciated! |

| K2CJ | SA HIGH ALL | Limited time due to family Thanksgiving weekend activities... very pleased with score tho! Nice to see so many familiar calls and great DXpeditions! Thanks to all who called in! Antennas: 10 - 5el @ 40' 15 - 5el @ 50' 20 - 4el @ 60' 40&80 - Butternut HF2-V |

| K2JF | SO LOW ALL | 15 meters was hot! |
| K2MN | SO LOW ALL | Used two indoor fan dipoles and 90 Watts |
| K2RR | SA HIGH 80M | I must get serious in the beginning I start slow, numbers build and then work hard. Even though I worked 95 countries, missed some easy ones, spent 37% in contest. Enormous European station participation - so nice to see on 80 meters. Heard BG5DLA (zone 23), RA9Y (zone 18) and didn't pursue. (I could kick myself for that) Got a little swamped by logging by pencil and paper during a run need a logging program. All in all, worked 95 countries and heard at least 10 more so DXCC on 80m is possible |
| K2SE | SA HIGH ALL | Had to limit my participation due to family health issues but still had a ball in my favorite contest! I was a bit rusty and started slow but got into contest shape fairly quickly. although I'm running all homebrewed wire antennas I was able to have a few sustained runs when the rate meter hit 100 per hour! Thanks to all who worked me and or heard me, particularly the Dexpiditions. Looking forward to next year but we recently moved into a 55+ development so I'm unsure where I'll be operating from. 73, K2SE |

| K3CCR | SA HIGH ALL | K3CCR is the club station at the Collington continuing-care retirement community at FM 18OW in MD, just east of DC. For the 2025 CQ WW CW, I (N3UM) was the only CW op. I did SOHP Assisted. I hoped to ~match the 1.57 M score I claimed in 2024 SFI was a bit down & Kp a bit up from last year. At start, I did OK on 40 M 240 Qs 00-04Z, 60/hr. On 20 M 0410-0422Z I got 11 Qs in 12 min. That cleared the band map so, I quit to sleep with 16 fewer Qs than last year, to return early. Good idea back on 20 M 1224-1311Z I got 50 Qs, 66/hr. Then on 15 M 1314-1419 I got 78 Qs, 72/hr. On 10 M 1428-1603Z I got 102 Qs, 64/hr. Got 22 more 15-M Qs 1605-1625Z, & quit for lunch with 53 more total Qs than at 1635Z in ’24. Back at 1839Z I got 27 15-M Qs by 1913Z, then 115 20-M Qs 1914-2139Z and 26 40-M Qs 2152-2222Z and quit for supper, 95 Qs ahead of that time in ’24. Back 0027-0257Z I got 101 40-M Qs, 40/hr, then 69 80- M Qs 0323-0446Z low bands slow with Kp=4 00-06Z. At 0446Z QRT +81 Qs re 2024. Back on 20 M 1305-1334Z I got 30 Qs in 29 min, on 15 M 1338-1424Z 36 Qs in 39 min, & on 10 M 1431-1510Z 36 Qs. But, after ~15Z, NO spots from W3LPL or W9PA. Telnet OK I tried reconnects & waiting. Nope BIG problem. I tried S&P on 10 M 1545-1628Z & got just 13 Qs noisy and slow. I quit to eat. Back at 1923Z, still no spots. S&P for 18 15-M Qs by 2021Z, then ran for 20 of 21 20-M Qs 2034-2122Z then spots came back. I clicked 9 20-M Qs in 6 mins, but few sigs on the bandmap. On 40 M from 2136Z I clicked for 73 Qs at 26/hr, then QRT. I had 1088 Qs, only 27 below my 1115 Qs in 2024. BUT, I had 47 fewer total mults than in 2024 +32 on 80 & 40 M, but -79 on 20 thru 10 M! Spots are vital to get mults fast. So, no spots for ~6.2 hrs in daylight 1500-2122Z ruined my 2025 score |

| K3UT | SA LOW 80M | Trying to get DXCC for 80M. Hope I got enough fills. It is tough these days to find any DX regularly on 80M CW. Had to use low power since the OCF dipole over house created all kinds of RF in the house and in the shack |
| K4EJ | SO LOW ALL | We're VERY lucky to enjoy something like the WW-CW in our ham radio 'careers' ... For a SOABLP entry with limited antennas, this one is quite an enduro ! Congratulations and thanks to the stations hearing me on 40m ... I used a Hustler antenna, on the back of my pickup truck, in the driveway, fed with 100 feet of RG-58. My yagi ( 3 el tribander ) A3 at 25' over the roof of the house put a lot of DX in the log this weekend. 73/OJ - Frank ( K4EJ ) |
| K4FOY | SO HIGH ALL | Outstanding conditions on 10 and 15 made this even more of a pleasure |
| K4FR | DISQUALIFIED | Operated from N4SS, The Radio Ridge Contest Club Station with special thanks to Bryan, W5MX |
| K4IE | SO HIGH ALL | I think I did well with the poor band conditions and no 80 meter antenna |
