Call | Category | Comments | WA3V | SA LP ALL | Maximum power was 100 watts | WA3YRI/2 | SO LP 10M | Operating as Hurricane Sandy Comes ashore in NJ with an AR-10 Ringo vertical mounted on free standing (un-guyed) 20 foot military stacked fiberglass poles. Stayed up the entire hurricane surviving 70+ MPH gusts! | WA4HXC | SA LP ALL | Lots of fun | WA5IYX | SO LP ALL | (2002) FT-847, (1977) 10-m 3-el Wilson Yagi @20' AGL; 20/40-m fan dipole at 15' AGL- both 75-m fan dipole and h.b. 3-e 15-m Yagi out of commission. amazingly good 10-m condx with a not-so-high solar flux - some Qs made at 29-MHz +. All Qs were S&P - never could establish a run. Slightly lower score than last year probably due in part to having to use 40-m dipole on 15-m | WA5RML | SO LP ALL | T.T. Paragon and Yaesu FT-857D @100 wts to MA5V vertical | WA5WFE | SA LP 10M | Power level 100 Watts | WA6KHK | SA HP 15M | We did the whole contest but since we did so good on 15 meters we decided to enter as 15 meters single band. How about that 3 hour opening to Europe on 10 meters Sunday morning guys!!! I bet a lot of 5BDXCC hopes were helped out. Were getting a poor man's KW (Heathkit SB-220 and keep the SB-200 for a spare) from another ham next month...soooo...once I get the Harbach mods put in, watch out. We're going to give the antenna farms a run for their money. C'ya | WA7BNM/6 | SO LP 10M | Actual Max Power=100W | WA7LT | SO HP 15M | A visit from W0CG / PJ2T and KL2A / W7 stopped things at 1410 of the first day. I did not get back on the air until the next day. We had a lot of fun just visiting! | WA7PRC | SO HP ALL | Fantastic conditions! The new 'flamethrower' yagi worked great! I just with I had more time to put into the contest! | WA7YUL | SO LP ALL | Good condx on 10m & 15m, so I had a lot of fun | WB0POH/4 | SO LP 10M | Had a ball on 10m mobile operation. Worked Russia, Ukraine, Canary Islands, etc for the first time mobile. Primary "stealth" antenna had to be taken down for deck resurfacing | WB0RUR/5 | SA LP ALL | Great contest! | WB2KLD | SO LP 10M | Busy getting ready for Sandy really limiyed available time | WB4K | SO HP ALL | 1st contest Not sure how to score how to do it | WB6CZG | SA HP ALL | This was my first CQ WW contest | WB7TPH | SO LP 10M | Thanks for the contest. Thanks a lot | WB9VGO | SO HP ALL | I don't have the contest stamina to go all out, but still had fun | WC8VOA | MSH | Operated from the former VOA facility | WL7BDO | SO LP 10M | Submitted as 10M single band entry, other bands as check log only | WL7E | SO HP 10M | Daytime condx were fabulous, night time condx were rather disappointing. The first night I had a Forced Off Time, no signals from 0341z until 1745z. Much the same the second night. However, I managed to catch an EU opening on Sunday morning to save the day. I hope all had fun and many tnx to all who called! 73, Joe WL7E | WN7T | SO HP ALL | Conditions were great! CPU dead so had to use a paper log :( WN7T | WP3GW | SO LP ALL | GREAT CONDITIONS ON 10 METERS AND ON SUNDAY IT FELT LIKE FIELD DAY! | WS8K | SO LP 20M | QRM SHOULD BE MADE ILLEGAL! | WU6W/7 | SO HP ALL | Good to see Ten Meters Open | WW1MM | SO LP ALL | Fun conditions, but I swear that my participation in this contest is cursed. Last year, I lost power for a week starting Saturday afternoon of the test. This year, my participation was limited due to having picked up an early flu, and needing to get ready for Frankenstorm Sandy | WZ7Z | SA LP ALL | YL | XE1AC | SA LP 15M | 100 Watts Output | XE1AY | SO LP ALL | By night not so much propagation. But in the daylight it was a zoo very difficult to heard. I enjoyed the little time in contest | XE1CT | SO LP 10M | DXXE SUPER DAWGS Contest Team | XE1EE | SO HP 10M | DXXE Cats Great contest as usual, I was unable to break my own record but next year I'll do ! Last time it was from CE6OS Radio Club Osorno | XX9AU | SO LP 15M | My transceiver is Yaesu-920. Max power in the contest is 100W | XX9TYT | SO HP 15M | Great experience. All was an expriment, location,country/licence, antennas and rtx. All was arranged for the first time for the contest. The only tech problems was to configure the DVK.so finally i just use my loudy and sometime raspy voice. Finnally have a good score, but not the expected result. I miss a lot of qso with Eu expecially on saturday, but a mix of bad propagation and classic "eu wall of qrm" make operations very difficult. Sunday morning i also found a mistake in the antenna direction!!!! "The hand- man rotator" made a mistake and the antenna was not pointing exactly to eu. Na path was really unexpected, low signals but all workable becouse no qrm. Thanks to Spiderbeam, ZeroFive antennas, David vr2ydc for the support. See you in next contest Equipment: Rtx: Ten-tec Omni Vii Pa: Acom 1000 Antennas: 3el.Spiderbeam - 5/8wl vertical by ZeroFive antenna | YB1AQD | SA LP ALL | Assisted selected to allow use of DX Summit (which was not much help). More stns seemed to be enunciating their callsigns clearly - a good trend. Enjoyable contest. Thx! | YB3IZK | SO LP 10M | Tnx for all station hpecuagn soon 73 bye | YL1S | MSH | TNX for nice Contest QSOs 73 GL ! | YL2GP | SA LP 10M | Another band QSOs ONLY for CONTROL | YL2GUV | SO LP ALL | TS-2000LE # Delta Loop 80m # 1/4L vertical for 80m # BHF3E 10/15m | YL2IP | SA LP ALL | 73 ! | YL3AD | SO LP ALL | First 19 QSO's made with 5 Watts!
