EA6SX | SO HIGH 20M | Crazy as usual with me. Game start and I was quite tired for my works so I had to sleep a little for a late start. My Icom was still repairing somewhere in Europe, after last storm, that let me just my old Kenwood TS440s and my old spiderbeam which I had to repair twice during the contest, including of course a crazy climbing at the tower after some 24 hours contesting. Monday at work was terrible and I'm still tired till now , when I am sending the logs close to dead line day (my only one free day fortunately). Anyway I do my best on old stile operation, (miss filters and facilities like dual watch for better SP of my Icom 756proIII), but enjoy of course with nice unexpected multipliers like ZS8, VP8 etc. Thanks again all to call me. Until next crazy game..but necessary one to keep that alive (Many thanks CQ for that).73?s Mike EA6SX |

EI4HQ | SO LOW 10M | 10m was pure magic for this year's contest. Open WW on both days. My country tally of 75 tells its own story. Really happy overall. Gotaways included zones 24 & 26 and TG9, BA7, XW0, TI8, P40 & 8P2 but I left nothing out there so can't complain. A vintage 10m year |
EI6JK | SO HIGH 10M | Bands were unreal |
EI7JZ | SA LOW ALL | Great propagation on 10m. Highlight was New Zealand on 10m with my vertical! I definitely need a better antenna but had a lot of fun. Both CobWebb at 10m and AV-640 vertical worked great |
EI7M | MULTI-ONE | What a blast! We began this contest on 40m and wow .... It was apparent from the start that this would be a special contest! 1200 qsos on 40m before moving to 15m when that opened for us with a string of JA in the morning. We moved up to 10m as soon as we could and the pileup never seemed to stop. Although indications were good beforehand that 10m would play we did not expect the band to be this good. For certain the first 24 hours of this contest were our best ever. We were tracking our previous best and beat it hour after hour. The remainder of the contest was great but of course it is always difficult to maintain the rates of day1. Conditions did not seem to be quite as good on day2. The team were delighted to record a new high score for EI7M. So that was cqww for 2013 - it seems hard to wait 12 months for cqww2014 - nothing quite matches cqww ssb |

ES5TF | SO QRP 10M | The propagation on 10m was just great! Although I was not able to participate more than about 1.5 hours in total using very "lightweight" setup, got some nice surprises. In Sunday evening, signals from NA stations were just amazingly strong (S9 according to S-meter was not rare!). Very fun propagation, hear you in coming contests!
