VA2AMSA HIGH ALLStrong attenuation both days for 160 m, 80 m signals were down by +30 dB also affecting 40 m but nice to see 15 m band opens during day light
VA2COSO LOW ALL80 and 40 meters were imposible to operate, every one was cutting them selves. A grate CACAPHONIE, one on top of each other!!!!! Also, too bad 10 meters did not open at all!!!
VA2SIBSA LOW ALLBoy do I need a better antenna and an Amp for SSB contest!
VA3DKLSO LOW 20MLicensed 2018-06-13
VA3KRTSO LOW ALLGOOD FUN
VA3MWMULTI-TWOWe started 2 hours late due to a Thunderstorm that parked overhead. VA3MW was local to the station and VA3CW was connected via FlexRadios SmartLink to the Flex 6600. The concept works well as VA3CW could also monitor the PGXL Amp and the Antenna switch even while remote

VA3SBSA LOW ALLThanks for a fun contest. Lots of activity. Glad to see 15 meters come alive. See you in the CQWW CW contest! 73 Serge VA3SB
VA4HZSO LOW ALLAlways a challenging contest. It is good to see 15m and 10m coming alive again. Hi-light of the weekend was catching VK4QA on 40m
VA6RCNSO LOW ALLLots of stations overdriving their radios resulting in distortion and splatter
VE2IDXSA LOW 40MTraveling to a remote destination is very challenging always, especially due to COVID-19 restrictions. I came to Zone 2 after 21 hours of hard-driving through the mountains of Northern Quebec in 5 days before the contest. I was installing 4 phased verticals on the shore of St. Lawrence River on the first day after my arrival and an 18-meter tower for stretching 6 elements wired Yagi to Europe on the second day. Strong snowstorm with wind 57 km per hour on the following night has bent 18 meter`s tower in the middle under 90 degrees and on 3rd day damaged mast was put down to the ground, disassembled, and damaged aluminum pipe was aligned to the curved portion back by the hydraulic press. Fortunately, this press was available in the closest mechanical shop. After that repaired mast was pushed back to 18 height and 6 el. Yagi on 40 was stretched between 2 towers. 2 beverage antennas to EU and W6 were installed the same day later as well. I should say that weather conditions in Zone 2 this time of the year were challenging, 5 days before the contest I had 3 strong snowstorms with wind 57-65 km per hour, such weather at this time of the year is very predictable here. One day before contest all was prepared and I was enjoying operating before the contest. However Uncle Murphy did not sleep and one hour before CQWW I had one more challenge - sparks in the high voltage module of the power amplifier. Got a full package of pleasure - sparks, strong burned smell, and definitely not sufficient time for repair because it happened one hour before the contest. I`ve decided to operate in SOSB (A) 7 MHz LP, the I really enjoyed by CQ WW operation from Zone 2 as always, see you in the CW part from Zone 2 in the next 4 weeks. Equipment/software used: YAESU FT-1000MP radio, N1MM+ Logger. 40 meters antennas: 6 elements wired Yagi at 45', 4 phased verticals on the shore of St. Lawrence River RX antennas: 2 beverages to EU and W6, 80 meters length each. 73, Igor VE2IDX, also VE3ZF
VE3BFUSO LOW ALLTHANKS ENJOYED THE CONTEST . WHAT A GEAT HOBBY WE HAVE DURING THIS TOUGH TIMES
VE3BYSA HIGH 40MFirst contest in 15 yrs, felt good
VE3ELSO LOW ALLGreat Contest! Helps beat shut-in due to Virus!! Good Grief!
VE3KTBSA HIGH ALLIn recent years I have operated CQWW mostly from VY0ERC. This year, thanks to COVID I'm in ONS. However, this effort had much in common with those northern efforts. First of all, the shack underwent a complete remodel and it was just put back together. Then, on Friday the crew showed up to install the XYL's long awaited concrete patio (it was supposed to happen in August) which meant that I had to dig up the coax and the SteppIR vertical's control cables and disconnect them to get them out of the way. Had to do the same for about 20 radials. After the crew finished on Saturday, I had the chance to restablish all the connections and radials. This of course meant struggling through on a low droopy wire until that point. Once the vertical was up and I diagnosed a few gremlins in the reconstructed station, it got more interesting. All in all, happy with the outcome
VE3OJNSA HIGH ALLReally good contest as always, spent more time in it than usual
VE3PNSO HIGH ALLTx Audio cables went intermittent AGAIN!! time to fix
VE3TLSO HIGH 20MBack on the air after 7 years silence. Great to restart with this Contest
VE3UTTSA LOW ALLK3 / Optibeam - Remote Really miss the amp in this one. No QSOs between 22 Conditions were a surprise on 15 and 10. Hope all had fun
VE3ZZSA HIGH ALLGreat contest as always..Great also to see the higher bands open!
VE4GKMSO LOW ALLLicensed Feb 22, 2018
VE5CPUSO HIGH ALLNice to work some DX despite solar conditions!
VE5PVMULTI-MULTIMany tnx to everyone who worked our station. 73 de VE5PV
VE5SFSA LOW ALLInteresting Conditions. A look at solar weather website showed why propagation to Europe was limited from western Canada. However good runs to the USA help keep the fun going … 73
VE6CSXSA LOW ALLCouldn't hear Europe for the entire contest. S. America stations were in great command and didn't come back to me. However, I had a good time and got a new country or two. Nest time I'll try high power, even though I'll only have 300 watts
VE6FIMULTI-TWOPoor propagation to Europe because of Aurora. It would be much easier from the east coast. But we made the best that we could. Everyone was very polite. It was fun Denis
VE6IVNSA HIGH ALLLots of fun again this year
VE6ZCSO LOW ALLDifficult conditons, but much better than 2019. Welcome back, solar flux!
VE7BGPSO LOW ALLI had limited time for this contest this year. The wx was nice sunshine so I got in some Cycling also. Rigs used classic IC-756Pro and vintage IC-751A. 73 Gerry
VE7DXSA LOW ALLmultiband dipole and 550 foot loop ..no beam
VE7EMISO LOW ALLHad a good time overall but new OCFD just wouldn't work for me. Made most contacts on my 43 ft vertical
VE7GLSA HIGH 40MJust playingn around, conditions were horrid with anything over the pole
VE7WNKSA HIGH ALLGreat 15M CDX, would have liked to get some JAs tho
VE7XTSA HIGH ALLNice to hear some signals on 10m and some great signals on 15 meters. We missed all the dxpeditions especially to the Pacific and Caribean. Hopefully next year things will be better and more hams will be able to travel. 73 Richard
VK2BJSO HIGH ALLConditions here in VK2 very patchy and 80m almost unusable due to QRN. Some good openings on 40, 20 and 15 but 10 very poor. Didn't seem to be the ususal amount of wall to wall band occupancy but this may have been conditions. As always it was good fun
VK2BNGSA LOW ALLYaesu FT-2000 with Wire Antennas QTH: Sydney QF56LE
VK2CZSO HIGH 20MDay 1 had great conditions compared to day 2 which was much thinner to say the least. Putting in time snared some rare countries and mults for me, heard but missed Zone 23 and 11
VK2GRSO HIGH ALLLots of low band QRM due to electrical storms along the east coast of Australia
VK2HAOSO LOW 40MDate first licensed: november 2019
VK2PNSO HIGH ALLJust a little try and to give out some numbers. Thanks all 73 Patrick
VK2PWSO HIGH ALLThank you to all those who entered the contest and also to all the organisers. It was a wonderful contest and always a pleasure to hear the bands open. 73
VK2PXSO LOW 20MActual TX Power: 100 Rotatable Dipole
VK3MHSA HIGH ALLGreat propagation on 15m, 20, & 40m. Was primary looking for Cape Verde and ended up with 56 countries including working K3LR over the north pole on 20m
VK3TZSO HIGH ALLA very part time effort doing a bit of dxing along the way
VK4DHMULTI-TWO15m radio would not enter correct frequency into the database
