| TC90A | MULTI-ONE | Mr Murphy was once again with us. First the laptop started crashing with any power over 300w on 10m so almost low power was used for 10m contacts. Then Saturday evening the Kenwood TS-480 just went dead without any warning. RIP. Thank God we had the Icom IC-718 as the back-up rig but lost time with the connections. Otherwisw a nice contest weekend for the team. 129 DXCC worked altogether. Definitely will apply for the DXCC award :) :) C U all next contest. 73 from Istanbul |

S&P worked also well. Highlights included B9/BY9GA (China), 9K2HN (Kuwait) and PT2CM of Caio Martins Boy Scout Troop in Brazil. Thanks for organizing this great event |

I spent too much time on 10 and not on 15 and as a result my score suffered. I have been doing this contest for 49 years, and it was just too much fun on 10 to bother with the score. | UA3BL | SO LOW ALL | Suddenly in the middle of the contest there happened an electricity breakdown! So I had to use a 12V accumulator with an old method of handwriting. Some details went a bit wrong but it was better than nothing. I prayed many times to keep the lifetime of my 60a/h car accumulator as long as possible. And it worked! Fortunately I run a bare ICOM 756P3 which consumes not much energy. Anyway it was fun! Tks to the organizers of the WW and everybody who tried to get my weak signals, 73! |
