For 10M I have a monoband yagi beam and 15 and 40m I have a homemade wire antenna and for 20m I have a homemade ground-mounted vert antenna, both vert and wire antenna were built by myself and my son who is 15yo

KM8QMULTI-TWOThis long Soapbox is one of thanks for help in completing my SK XYL, Karen, KM8Q's last wish - creating a Contesting and DXing club focused on attracting women and youth to these activities. Thanks to so many, it happened:? KM8Q - Storms Creek Contest Club (SCCC). Our very small operating team did a super job! N9NC flew in from NH and W8ASA did split duty operating and caring for his wife who was not feeling well. Often, it was adrenalin that kept us going. Many folks inspired Karen in the 42+ years she was a Ham.? From Rush Drake, W7RM in the 70s to Craig Thompson, K9CT today, hams encouraged, counseled, and worked with us to make it happen.? I'll miss so many, but thanks to Craig, K9CT Mike, W9RE Tom, N9NC Ted, N9NB Jose, N4BAA Paul, KD8OPN Ken, W8ASA and countless others. Additionally, a few folks such as Jeff at Green Heron Engineering Jay at Array Solutions, the late Kurt Andress, K7NV at Andress Technologies the folks at LUSO, Ken at JK Antennas the team at Flex Radio, the staff at QRZ.com and of course Tim and the gang at DX Engineering played important roles, either directly or indirectly, assisting us in building what we hope to be a future mid-west, multi-two competitor. A special thanks to the entire group at Contest University!? Karen really enjoyed attending these fantastic events.? We learned so much.? Every presenter over the years generously passed on their hard-earned knowledge to future generation of contesters.? Well Done. In conclusion, this was our 'shakedown cruise.' We learned about ourselves and the station's capabilities. We're always looking for feedback!? If you worked or heard KM8Q this weekend and have a comment, please send it to: KM8Q at MBFTech dot net.? We really want to know what went right or wrong and how we can improve. Thanks for your patience and 73, Ken, KM8AM and the budding crew at: KM8Q, the Storms Creek Contest Club (SCCC)

KN4HGISA LOW ALLWow, did the open bands make this fun! All the way from 10 meters to 3x on 160M 'Top Band!' I'll be looking forward to all the CQ contests, and congratulate all of you behind the scenes, sponsors, and the staffers who make this the BIG ONE!
KN4USASA LOW ALLFirst Year doing this. So much for Learning proper phonetics. Was kind of disapointed in the lack of procedures for exchanging information. I get it. It is a contest, but you do not need to be short with people

KO4ENUSO LOW ALLFirst license 06-2022 Great contest, lots of stations to work and eager operators and you can gauge by the tone in their voices that they were having a fantastic time. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of participating rookies like myself. Wish I had more BIC time. PVRC- Colonial Chapter

KP3DXSA HIGH ALLAfter Hurricane Fiona, took most of the station down, it was a surprise the score achieved with limited antennas. Another great show.. Great work by the cqww committee
KQ2MSO HIGH ALLGreat cndx on 10 for part of the weekend. Amazing rates - lots of fun. Nice to see some Ukraine stations on again. Thanks for the qso's and mults! 73 Bob, KQ2M
KQ2NSO LOW ALLVery many instances of big gun S9+ signal stations that don't hear well. I understand they may turn down the rf gain as many stations call them, but I base my observations during quiet times, while at the same time someone calling cq barely moving the S meter gets the call on the first try
