| OG6N | SA HIGH ALL | I took Friday off from work to prepare for the contest weekend. I thought that I could finish in time and have some decent rest before the contest. Finally when the contest started I had slept a mere hour. This time the propagation was quite good most of the weekend and especially 10m was a big surprise. I did not have enough time to test the new antenna switching system before the contest and on Sunday I lost the other radio. I was not using that radio very much anyway because it was only 100W. When 15m closed on Sunday the bands were very poor for a couple of hours before 20m peaked towards the end of the contest. Memorable weekend and unexpected conditions |
