VK3TZSA HP 160MJust chasing a few new entities this time around and having a bit of fun. Wish the guys in the Caribbean would turn their beams south sometimes!! Very hard to work new ones off the back of the beam. LY was a new one on 160m :). Condx seemed to be fantastic. Some great new ones in the log, hard work but plenty of reward
VK4TTSO LP ALLG'day to other ops in Test
VK6MABSO LP 15MJust a couple of hours looking for band slots I hadn't worked in CW. Fun nonetheless
VK6WXSA HP ALLIn it to get new countries for DXCC. Got at least a dozen new ones. Had lots of fun. Frustrating not being able to crack the dogpiles. Look out for me next year!
VK7RFSO LP ALLActual TX Power: 90W An enjoyable contest although the manners of some operators was deplorable. Best 73s Rob VK7RF
VK8AVSO LP 20Menjoyed the contest, as usual
VO1NASO QRP 160MThanks to those with great ears and patience to copy QRP on top band!
VU2BGSSO LP 10MHeavy rains, power cuts, lots of QRN, but lots of fun meeting old friends
VU2GRMSA LP ALLRadio: FT857D, Ant Dipole 40M, HEX Beam for 20,15 &10M bands
VU2LBWSA QRP ALLMy first attempt at QRP in a contest! Had a great time chasing and working a bunch of good ones in my part-time effort. Thanks to everyone who dug my signal out and gave me a QSO
VU2MUDSO LP ALLICOM IC-718; ANTENNA- G5RV JR 40M-10M - 50 FT HIGH; POWER 80 W. I CAPTION THIS CONTEST AS "I AM CONTESTING WHILE THE XYL IS RESTING". ENJOYED WHAT EVER TIME I COULD SPEND DURING THE WEEKEND AS WE HAD TO CANCEL AN IMPORTANT TRAVEL PLAN AT THE LAST MOMENT
VU2PTTSA HP ALLRigs - IC-746PRO x 2 Amps - SB-200 x 2 (Tnx VU2LBW for a loaner amp) Antennas - All single element wires 80m - Quarterwave Vertical + 1 20m radial on Spiderpole 18m 40m - Half wave vertical + 5 x 10m radials 20m - Inverted Vee 15m - Fishing Pole vertical + 2 radials 10m - Fishing pole Vertical + 2 radials SO2R - N1MM logger, YCCC SO2R+ Box, 2 x Top Ten Band Decoder, 2 x ICE-419 BPF, KK1L 2x6 Antenna Switch and Band Decoder Another terrific time on the bands this time as an Assisted High Power operation after doing the same some 20 years ago at VU2MTT where we had a 3-el mono bander on 20m and 2-el monobander on 15m. Relatively this operation with only wires netted about the same number of QSOs but 700K more points. The bands were pretty good and this year I thought 20m was really quite good compared to last year when I made over 3000 Qs. However, not having the beam due to ongoing house move and new construction meant I had to quickly whip up the wire antennas couple of days before the contest. I had a hectic couple of weeks before the contest at work and decided to take it easy in the Assisted category with a few breaks in between. Wanted to do DXCC in a weekend on at least 4 bands but was successful only on two (20 & 15m). Should have pushed a bit more on 10 & 40m. Made one single run on 80m but stopped after 30-40 QSOs because of the new non-stop calling trend which seemed to have caught on a lot in this contest. I had to send the call of the other 3-4 times at time to get through each QSO because stations were not stopping calling until they heard their callsign go back. Hope to see you all from my new QTH next year with better antennas. Thanks to all for the wonderful QSOs, each one was enjoyable and special. 73 de Prasad VU2PTT

W0AOSO LP ALLAntenna was a 20 ft. telescoping crappie pole with a wire taped to it and fed as a vertical against 16 radials and tuned from the shack. For 15M and 10M I disconnected the upper 9 feet of the wire to get a matchable impedance and a low take off angle. It was fun. Thanks for the Q's
W0IMD/4SO LP ALLSo many loud stations. Search and pounce was the only option. 73 de Ian
W0ROSO LP ALLNice activity on 10-Meters! I picked up Qs between other tasks around the house
W0RSP/7SO QRP ALL4 watts and 40m dipole up 30-ft! Limited time, but nice opening on 10m and 40m pretty good. Great time! 73, Ade W0RSP
W0UO/5MSHAntennas badly iced up Friday night, unable to operate at all until after noon on Saturday and all antenas available sometime later. Had fun, that's the main thing

W1RMSA HP ALLWhy does everyone call all the time no matter what the station you are trying to work sends? It's nuts!
W1TEF/4SA QRP 10MGreat fun even with technical issues - love CW contesting and QRP
W1XXSO HP ALLCLASSIC CLASSIC CLASSIC CLASSIC
W2ENM2Not bad for a pair of long time Contester's with a pair of tribanders on a pair of modest towers, with a pair of verticals and a pair of wires. We didn't escape Murphy; Had some start-up troubles which W2CG helped correct via LL. Magic smoke escape from one radio (IC-756P3)but there was a backup (IC-756P2). Lost a little time to the call of duty (Country Fire Department). Conditions were great if weird at times and we thank our host W2CG for allowing us the use of his station and QTH. Equipment, Alpha 76PA, 77DX, Icom IC-7600, 756P3, 756P2, Force12 C36XL, Mosley M33, Butternut HF2V, Homebrew 80m Dipole, 160m Inv V. Win-Test-4.10.0
W2UDTSA HP ALLSmall score but here it is. Lots of FAMILY obligations kept me off the air most of the weekend
W2YRSA HP ALLA lot better participant behavior than in the phone contest!
W3BCSO LP ALLSingle G5RV antenna up 45 feet worked FB on all bands, and did not seem to put me at much of a disadvantage in pile-ups. Rainy WX helped quiet the S9+20dB noisy power lines, but when the rain stopped, so did I!
W3TB/4SO LP 40M40 meters only; low power, inverted vee
W4GVSA LP ALLEnjoyed getting 8 new countries on 80 meters. Great condx

W4ZPRSO LP ALLI had limited operating time but enjoyed every minute
W4ZYT/1SO LP ALLMy shoestring Vermont 100 watt station with short random wire still provided plenty of enjoyment. Lots of stations to work: a very pleasant outing!
W5GFISA HP ALLJust for fun
W6LENSO LP ALLConditions were awesome, but between granddaughter, cycling events, a malfunctioning vertical I didn't really get into the contest as much as I would have liked
